San Manuel Stadium Hosted CIFSS Baseball Championship Games Announced
San Bernardino, CA- The Inland Empire 66ers announced on Wednesday the game times and matchups for the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section (CIFSS) Finals to be hosted at San Manuel Stadium on Saturday June 6th. Four championship contests will be played with the first beginning at 10 AM. Gates to the ballpark will open at 9:00 AM.
"We are so excited to provide a venue for the best high school baseball tournament in the country," 66ers General Manager Joe Hudson said. "Our goal is to provide the players and fans a first class experience while they treat the Inland Empire to great baseball and school spirit."
The schedule for the games are as follows: At 10 AM the Division Four Finals will kick off the day's festivities with Serrano High School taking on South Torrance High School. The Division Three Final between Walnut and Redondo Union will take place at 1 PM, while the Division Two Final between Mission Viejo and Chino Hills will start at 4 PM. The main event of the evening will be the Division One Final between Huntington Beach and Hart with a first pitch time at 7:30pm. Tickets for all four games are available through Ticketmaster and 66ers.com. In addition, the contests will be streamed live via FOX Sports West's web channel.
Concession stands will be open for all games. There will be no outside food or beverages permitted in San Manuel Stadium with the exception of a 16 oz. or less sealed bottled water.
