Pat Sajak to Make Nymeo Field Appearance

First 1,000 Fans to Receive Bobblehead of Wheel of Fortune Host

FREDERICK, Md. -On Friday, June 19, America's favorite game show host, Pat Sajak, will make an appearance at Nymeo Field when the Frederick Keys play the Wilmington Blue Rocks at 7:00 p.m. The Wheel of Fortune host will be on hand to sign autographs and throw out a ceremonial first pitch, while the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Sajak Bobblehead presented by Randy Scritchfield Retirement Planning.

The host of Wheel of Fortune for more than 30 years, Sajak began hosting the daytime version of the show in 1981. Since that time, he has won three Emmy Awards, a People's Choice Award, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In June 2011, Sajak was honored with the Daytime Emmy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.

An avid baseball fan, Sajak at one point hosted "The Pat Sajak Baseball Hour" on MLB.com radio. Additionally he served as one of the original investors in the Golden Baseball League, an independent professional league located on the West Coast. It has since merged to form the North American League. Sajak splits his time between Los Angeles and Severna Park, Maryland.

In addition to an appearance by Pat Sajak, Friday night will feature postgame fireworks presented by Frederick Magazine. Then on Saturday at 6:00 p.m, Team Ghostriders and the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo will be in town. This one-of-a-kind show features monkeys riding dogs as though they were horses while herding goats. After the game, there will be fireworks presented by Precision Heating and Cooling. The weekends wraps up with Father's Day on Sunday at 2:00 p.m sponsored by Verizon Wireless. It is also a Sunday Funday presented by Heartfields Assisted Living at Frederick.
