Redbirds Return For Weekend Series
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds return to AutoZone Park this Thursday to open a four-game homestand against the division-rival and first place Round Rock Express (Triple-A Rangers).
Thursday, June 11 vs. Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)
- Bass Pro Shops Catch-And-Release Pond: Two of America's favorite pastimes come together for an event encouraging kids and families to put down their digital devices and discover the outdoors. The Redbirds are teaming up with Bass Pro Shops to offer a free catch-and-release pond at AutoZone Park.
Families and kids can experience the excitement of catching a live fish at the Bass Pro Shops catch-and-release pond located on the concourse on the right field picnic pavilion inside the ballpark. Learn more.
- College Night: Every Thursday home game, college students can purchase $5 Left Field TruGreen Bluff tickets at the box office on gamedays (with a valid college ID). $2 domestic drafts will be available for purchase at the Left Field Bar throughout the game.
- Burger King Whopper Promotion: Upon exiting the game, Redbirds fans in attendance will receive a coupon for a free Whopper with the purchase a medium french fries and drink, courtesy of Burger King.
Friday, June 12 vs. Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)
- Block Party: Every Friday, come out to AutoZone Park and enjoy not only a great baseball game but also our amazing Block Parties. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., two hours before the first pitch, for a special end-of-the-week Block Party featuring select $2 domestic drafts and live music from the ShotGunBillys.
Saturday, June 13 vs. Round Rock Express at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)
- Postgame Fireworks: A spectacular fireworks extravaganza set to the tune of STAX Records will follow the action on the field.
- Baby Races: The fastest babies in town will race pregame at AutoZone Park during the third of five Baby Races this season, presented by Fertility Associates of Memphis.
Sunday, June 14 vs. Round Rock Express at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)
- Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday: The first 2,500 kids ages 12 and under will receive a free ice cream treat before the game, courtesy of Prairie Farms Dairy.
- Kids Run the Bases: Kids ages 12 and under get to take the field and run like the Redbirds following the game.
Following the homestand, Memphis embarks on a seven-game road trip to face the cross-state rival Nashville Sounds (Triple-A A's), Oklahoma City Dodgers (Triple-A Dodgers). The Redbirds return to AutoZone Park on Tuesday, June 23 to open an action-packed 11-game homestand against Nashville, Colorado Springs (Triple-A Brewers), and Oklahoma City.
