Flying Tigers to Host 4th of July Celebration
The Lakeland Flying Tigers will host the 4th of July Independence Day Celebration at Joker Marchant Stadium on Saturday, July 4th. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for the best seat locations and to avoid lines. Tickets for July 4th are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075 or by visiting www.LakelandFlyingTigers.com.
Advanced sale box seats are $7 and reserved seats are $6 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Tickets purchased on July 4th will be an additional $1 per ticket. Parking is FREE.
The Flying Tigers will take on the Dunedin Blue Jays in a Florida State League north-division match-up. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and the gates to Marchant Stadium will open at 4:00 p.m. During the game the Flying Tigers will have holiday picnic themed games, contests, music and fun. The team will be wearing special patriotic red, white and blue jerseys. There will also be live music and entertainment following the game by The Sofa Kings.
The fireworks spectacular will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. and is sponsored by The City of Lakeland, The Ledger Media Group, Yuengling and Guardian Wealth Management and will be displayed by Fireworks Displays Unlimited.
