WKYU To Broadcast 2015 Midwest League All-Star Game

Bowling Green, Ky. - All eyes around the Midwest League will be on Peoria, Ill. this Tues., June 22 for the 2015 Midwest League All-Star Game at 7 p.m. CDT, which will be broadcast locally on WKYU (PBS) in Bowling Green, as announced by American Sports Network (ASN) on Thursday.

WKYU and various ASN affiliates from around the country will carry the league's Midsummer Classic from Dozer Park, home of the Western Division's Peoria Chiefs.

Hot Rods fans in Lexington can also catch the All-Star game on WDKY-2 (GETTV) and WTVQ-2 (MyTV), while Hot Rods fans in Paducah can view the action on Comcast SportsNet Chicago Plus.

Bowling Green will send a league-high seven participants to represent the Eastern Division in pitchers Brent Honeywell, Chris Pike and Hunter Wood, along with position players Grant Kay, Nick Ciuffo, Casey Gillaspie and the Eastern Division's starting second baseman Jace Conrad.

Before the contest, the league's Home Run Derby will be held at 5 p.m. CDT, featuring Gillaspie - who leads the Midwest League with 15 home runs - and Conrad, who is one of five members of the Rays organization with 10 home runs which is also tied for fifth most in the circuit.
