Hot Dog Eating Contest at July 4th BlueClaws Game

LAKEWOOD, NJ - American Independence, Hot Dogs, and a Ballgame! The BlueClaws are holding a Hot Dog Eating Contest at their game on the 4th of July!

The hot dog contest begins at the end of the first inning at the right field beach (next to the Asbury Park Press Food Court). The winner will be the first person to eat 15 hot dogs or the person that eats the most hot dogs in 10 minutes. 

The winner will receive a $100 cash prize. 

To sign up, call Zack Nicol at 732-901-7000 ext 145. The $20 entry fee includes a ticket to the game. 

The BlueClaws game on the 4th of July will include the biggest, brightest, most colorful fireworks show at the Shore following the game. The fireworks show that night is presented by JCP&L. There will also be a post-game fireworks show following the game on Sunday, July 5th thanks to Georgian Court University.
