July 11th: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Boll Weevils Night

LAKEWOOD, NJ - Join the BlueClaws for a jam-packed night of fun on Saturday, July 11th when the BlueClaws become the Piedmont Boll Weevils and welcome in wrestling legend Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat to FirstEnergy Park for a special autograph signing.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat is a WWE legend who is also a WWE Hall of Famer. He will sign autographs during the game and follow in the line of many WWE greats who have been to FirstEnergy Park like Mick Foley, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Ted "The Million Dollar Man" DiBiase, and others.

The autograph signing is limited to one item per person. The signing begins when the game starts at 7:05 pm but the line will form when the gates open at 6:00 pm. Fans can bring their own item to have signed, but the BlueClaws will also have photos available for sale as well. 

The Piedmont Boll Weevils were the "BlueClaws Before the BlueClaws." They were the Phillies' South Atlantic League affiliate in Kannapolis, NC from 1995-2000 before the Phillies moved to Lakewood when the BlueClaws opened in 2001. For one night, the BlueClaws will become the Boll Weevils. They'll wear special jerseys and hats plus the jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting BlueClaws Charities. The BlueClaws have Boll Weevils caps and shirts available in the Claws Cove.
