Miracle To Host Breast Cancer Awareness Night

Special event to benefit Partners for Breast Cancer Care

FORT MYERS, F.L. (August 12, 2010) - Enjoy a special night at the ballpark when the Fort Myers Miracle host their first ever Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by 21st Century Oncology on Saturday, August 21 at Hammond Stadium. The Miracle host the Bradenton Marauders in a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 p.m. with the first 500 ladies receiving a special pink tote bag beginning at 6 p.m.

The entire Miracle team will wear commemorative pink jerseys during the second game of the doubleheader. The jerseys will be auctioned off, with all of the proceeds benefiting Partners for Breast Cancer Care. Miracle players will remove and autograph their jerseys after the game and be available for pictures with their winning bidder. There will also be a silent auction and a chance to win raffle prizes. In addition to the game, a special survivor walk that will take place between games of the doubleheader. Local star and Nashville Recording Artist Krystal Walters will perform special music including her hit single "Give" which is dedicated to survivors. Fans who are survivors are invited to take part in this uplifting event.
