Sanders will sign autographs on Friday night
A two sport star, Sanders won his first Super Bowl during the 1994 season as a member of the San Francisco 49ers and then won his second a year later as a Dallas Cowboy. All-in-all, he played for five different teams: the Atlanta Falcons, the 49ers, the Cowboys, the Washington Redskins and most recently with the Baltimore Ravens. Sanders is best known for his ability to play cornerback in the NFL, recording 53 career interceptions and returning nine for touchdowns.
He also donned four different big-league uniforms as a nine year veteran of Major League Baseball, playing for the New York Yankees, the Atlanta Braves, the Cincinnati Reds, and the San Francisco Giants. His only World Series appearance came with the Atlanta Braves in 1992, but the Toronto Blue Jays bested the Braves in October, denying Sanders the feat of earning a championship in both sports.
Sanders will sign autographs on the night of Friday, January 12th from 5-8 p.m. at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines. There are no restrictions on items to be signed, but he will NOT be doing inscriptions. Tickets for Sanders are $55 per autograph.
