Another month of the Greenville Drive's 2015 season is in the books. Now, the Drive and Hale's Jewelers want you, the fans, to help decide on the Player of the Month for June.
Cast your vote today and you could win a $250 savings certificate towards a $500 purchase at Hale's Jewelers. The nominees for the Hale's Jewelers June Player of the month are:
Mauricio Dubon, IF: Dubon earned a promotion to Salem as a reward for his terrific season, and before he left, he hit .317 in 15 June games with 19 hits, six stolen bases and a .397 on-base percentage.
Ryan Harris, RP: The right-hander posted a 1.86 ERA with two saves in six June appearances, allowing just two earned runs in nine and two-third innings with 12 strikeouts.
Dedgar Jimenez, SP: In five starts in June, Jimenez posted a 2-2 record with a 2.73 ERA, and he logged the Drive's first complete game of the season. He allowed just nine earned runs in 29 2/3 innings.
Nick Longhi, 1B/OF: Longhi was a steady presence in the lineup in June, hitting .299 with 23 hits, five doubles, seven RBI and a .375 on-base percentage in 22 games.
Mike Meyers, OF: Meyers led the team in average (.321), hits (27) and on-base percentage (.400) in 23 June games while scoring 13 runs, hitting five doubles, swatting a pair of homers and driving in 11 runs.
Reed Reilly, SP: Reilly made four appearances, including three starts, this month and boasted a 2.49 ERA with a 1-1 record while throwing 21 2/3 innings and allowing just six earned runs.
