Zephyrs, Aces finale cancelled
Game will not be made up; Vegas in town Tuesday
The tropical depression returned over Southeast Louisiana causing persistent torrential downpours and unplayable field conditions at Zephyr Field on Monday, forcing the postponement of the series finale between the Reno Aces and New Orleans Zephyrs.
The game will not be made up, as it was the final meeting of the season between Reno and New Orleans.
Tickets from Monday's game can be redeemed for a ticket to any Zephyrs game the remainder of the 2010 season.
The Zephyrs and Las Vegas 51s open a four-game series at Zephyr Field beginning on Tuesday night as righty Brian Lawrence (9-7, 4.68) and southpaw Brad Mills (8-4, 4.20) take the hill for their respective teams.
