Sunny side up: Eggs and Bacon Series Aug. 3-6

Commonly served on the same plate, it's going to be an 'eggs and bacon battle' at the plate, as the Toledo Mud Hens are teaming up with the Ohio Egg Farmers to present the Eggs and Bacon Series at Fifth Third Field, Monday, August 3 through Thursday, August 6. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will be providing the bacon!

The four-game series will feature the Mud Hens wearing egg-themed jerseys and hats and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs wearing bacon-themed jerseys and hats.

The Eggs and Bacon Series will come to a boil on Thursday, August 6, as fans can feast on an all-you-can-eat brinner buffet (breakfast for dinner=brinner). Adults 21 and over can enjoy it 'kegs and eggs' style with featured brews. The buffet will feature eggs and bacon, of course!

The Eggs and Bacon Brinner package for August 6 is $34 for adults and $24 for children. If you already have a game ticket, you can add the buffet: $22 for adults and $12 for children.   

Also on August 6, the game worn egg-themed jerseys will be sold during a silent auction at Fifth Third Field, with proceeds to benefit the Children's Hunger Alliance and Helping Hens Charities. Look for the silent auction tables located on the main concourse in Section 114.
