Stand Up To Cancer Jersey Auction

When the TinCaps host the West Michigan Whitecaps (Tigers) on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 1:05 p.m., the team will be special jerseys for Stand Up To Cancer Day presented by Fifth Third Bank.

The jerseys were designed by Kayla Ellis, a Fort Wayne native and a recent graduate of the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne. Kayla's design (see above) was inspired by her grandmother, Marilyn Alber, who passed away when Kayla was a freshman and whose wish it was for Kayla to continue in school and complete her degree.

Once the game ends on Sunday, one of the jerseys designed by Kayla could be yours! All you need to do is place a winning bid during our TinCaps Jersey Auction, which is already live. Proceeds from the auction will fund cancer research.
