Indians Outfielder Nick Swisher to Rehab with the Captains July 30, 31 and Aug 2
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the class A affiliate for the Cleveland Indians, will have Cleveland Indians outfielder Nick Swisher in their starting lineup for tonight's 7 PM game versus Lansing. Swisher is also expected to play in Friday night's 7 PM game versus Great Lakes and Sunday's 6:30 PM game versus the Loons.
Swisher is expected to play nine innings in the outfield tonight and is expected to DH on Friday. Swisher will rest on Saturday and play nine more innings in the outfield on Sunday for the Captains. This is Swisher's second rehab stint with Lake County this season. On July 20-21, Swisher went 2-4 with two runs scored and two walks in a pair of games.
Swisher, went on the disabled list with left knee inflammation on June 15 (retroactive to June 13). Prior to going on the disabled list, Swisher was batting .198 with 2 HR and 8 RBI in 30 games with Cleveland this season.
Thirsty Thursday, presented by Labatt and ESPN 850 WKNR, and will feature a .25-cent Labatt Beer Happy Hour for one hour before game time, half-price domestic draft beer until 9 PM and half-price soda all game long.
As part of Thirsty Thursday, the Captains will offer an all-you-can eat wing and pizza buffet outside the Corona Castaways Bar for only $14.
Thursday, will also feature an All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet in the Captains Cove, the Captains newest luxury area located on the suite level of Classic Park. The $25 ticket includes admission to The Cove, an all-you-can-eat buffet and non-alcoholic beverages.
