Game to resume on Sunday at 4:10 pm, with the regularly scheduled game to follow
August 8, 2015

BILOXI, MS - The Biloxi Shuckers and Mississippi Braves were suspended by rain and lightning on Saturday night with the game knotted at 1-1. The game will be picked up with one out in the top of the sixth inning at 4:10 pm on Sunday, as the regularly scheduled game will follow. Both games on Sunday will be nine innings with the nightcap to begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

Because Saturday's game was not completed, fans with tickets may exchange them for a ticket of equal value, based on seating availability, for any future 2015 regular season, non-restricted home game. Exchanges are accepted exclusively at the MGM Park Box Office.

Saturday's fireworks were postponed due to weather concerns and will be made up during one of the Shuckers' playoff games on September 11.

The Shuckers jumped on the scoreboard first on Saturday in the bottom of the first inning, receiving an RBI single from Victor Roache (1x2), scoring Josh Fellhauer (0x1 2 BB).

Biloxi starter Adrian Houser was an out away from making the game official, with the Shuckers on top 1-0, but Braves' leadoff hitter Emerson Landoni shot a two out single to right with two outs in the top of the fifth, scoring Braeden Schlehuber from third. Landoni increased his hitting streak to 11 games.

Houser surrendered just the one run on four hits over 5.2 innings, no walks and three strikeouts in his second starter as a member of the Shuckers.

Sunday's regularly scheduled game will feature LHP Josh Hader (1-0, 0.00) making his second Shuckers start and MGM Park debut against RHP Stephen Janas (1-4, 4.62). First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., with coverage beginning at 6:55 p.m. on 1240-AM WGCM, 1580-AM WPMO and the Biloxi Shuckers Radio Network. Fans can also listen to the game using the TuneIn Radio app or by going to www.biloxishuckers.com.
