O-Royals ticket prices stay the same in 2007
"Royals baseball has become known for providing quality, family-oriented entertainment at a reasonable price," said Doug Stewart, Royals senior vice president/general manager. "To that end, we are pleased to keep ticket prices the same for fans to enjoy a fun, inexpensive day or evening of entertainment at the ballpark," he added.
The Omaha Royals will remain the most affordable professional sport for fans and their families in the Omaha area. A family of four can enjoy the experience of attending a Royals game for an average of $47.00. That includes two adult tickets, two children's tickets, four hot dogs, two sodas, two beers and a souvenir program. Parking at Rosenblatt Stadium is free.
A comparison index of fan costs published in 2006, which included those same ticket and food and beverage totals, shows the Royals prices to be below the Triple-A baseball average of $53.93 for a family of four. The Royals $47.00 average price was substantially lower than the Major League Baseball average cost of $128.57 per game for a family of four.
While single game tickets for the Omaha Royals 2007 season will go on sale at a later date, season tickets and other ticket plans are currently on sale. Half and full-season ticket prices are also unchanged. The full-season ticket package stays at $400 per Field Box seat and $300 per Reserved seat for all 72 home games. The 36-game season ticket package remains at $225 per Field Box seat and $175 per Reserved seat. A wide range of smaller ticket packages is also available.
