Storm Chasers Release 2016 Home Dates

OMAHA, Neb. - The Storm Chasers have 21 games remaining this season, and are still in contention for a franchise record fifth straight division title. There are 12 home dates remaining at Werner Park, including Fan Appreciation Weekend on September 4^th - 7^th, but the Storm Chasers are helping fans prepare early for the 2016 season with the upcoming season's home dates now officially revealed.

CALENDAR VIEW OF DATES HERE

The 2016 home schedule will begin on the Opening Day of the Pacific Coast League season, with an April 7 matchup against the New Orleans Zephyrs. The full list of games at Werner Park is as follows:

• April: 7^th - 14^th, 23^rd - 26^th, 28^th - 30^th
• May: 1^st, 6^th - 13^th, 23^rd - 30^th
• June: 4^th - 7^th, 21^st - 24^th, 30^th
• July: 1^st - 3^rd, 14^th - 21^st, 30^th - 31^st
• August: 1^st - 2^nd , 7^th - 10^th, 20^th - 23^rd, 29^th - 31^st
• September: 1^st - 5^th

The 2016 home schedule includes 16 Fireworks nights: nine coming on Fridays, four on Saturdays and three on Sundays. Those 16 dates are highlighted by the Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular Weekend July 1-3, with three straight nights of Fireworks. The home dates for next season also features 10 "Thirsty Thursday" dates and 12 Family FUNDay Sundays.

Key dates for the 2016 season are the 24 games against American Conference North Division rivals. The games against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Iowa Cubs and Oklahoma City Dodgers are as follows:

• Colorado Springs Sky Sox: April 23^rd - 26^th, August 7^th - 10^th
• Iowa Cubs: May 6^th - 9^th, July 30^th - August 2^nd
• Oklahoma City Dodgers: April 28^th - May 1^st, September 2^nd - 5^th
