Jacksonville Sunbeams to Hold Tryouts
The Sunbeams entertain throughout the Jacksonville Suns home games by greeting fans with various give-aways at the front gate, helping with promotions on the field, and of course, dancing! Recently, the Sunbeams have taken on a new role and dance pregame, on the field between innings, and on the dugouts during the seventh inning stretch! Due to this, new members with a love of dance are encouraged to check out the new face of the Sunbeams and audition for the 2010-2011 season! Auditions for the 2010-2011 team will be November 20th, 2010, 10am at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Please see the additional information below regarding audition details.
2010-2011 Jacksonville Suns Sunbeam Auditions
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the 2010-2011 Sunbeams! We are looking for an elite group of ladies that have outgoing personalities, great work ethic and a love for dance! If this sounds like a fun job for you and you're 18 or older, come out and audition!. Before the audition, two workshops will be held to answer questions and cover all information pertaining to the audition. At these workshops, the audition dance will also be taught. Applications are available by clicking the link below. Please fill one out to bring to the workshop you attend. Please attach a headshot and the fee to your application.

WORKSHOPS:
There will be only one day offered for the pre-audition workshops. You must attend this workshop. Please arrive early, and be ready to begin at 8pm sharp.
Thursday November 18, 2010 8pm-10pm @ Snap Fitness
Snap Fitness is located at: 4372 Southside Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32246 (904)-240-1879
WORKSHOP ATTIRE: Please dress to impress! Hair must be worn down and styled, and makeup should accentuate your best physical features. You may choose to wear pants or shorts. If shorts are worn please wear panty hose. A full length or half top will be acceptable. NO t-shirts please. Jazz shoes, dance sneakers, or tennis shoes will be permitted. Please bring water and a snack if you'd like.
COST: There will be a $35 audition fee. Cash or check will be accepted. Please make checks out to the Jacksonville Suns. This fee will cover your workshop and audition attendance, so please ensure you bring a check or cash with you to whichever workshop you attend. This fee should be attached to the application and headshot you are submitting. All of these will be due before you can participate in the workshop.

A form-fitting black, yellow, or gold top, full length or half top, will be acceptable. Please wear black jazz shoes, black dance sneakers, or black tennis shoes.
INTERVIEW:
Sunday November 21st, 2010 at selected times @ the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville
INTERVIEW ATTIRE: Please dress to impress in professional attire. Hair must be styled and makeup should be worn. Suits are not required, but please come dressed respectively.
