FAN GUIDE: Fan Appreciation Night
The season may be coming to an end, but we have one more night to celebrate…and we are going out with a bang!
The great end of summer tradition born at the ballpark, Fan Appreciation Nightis set for Wednesday, September 2nd as the Bisons face the Syracuse Chiefs at 6:05 p.m., presented by the Aesthetic Associates.
This is our thanks to you for another fantastic season at Coca-Cola Field. Giveaways every half inning and a tremendous post game fireworks show are the staples for this annual event. But we've also added a Flying Bison 'Happy Hour' celebration that gets the night going early 4:30 p.m. and a new twist to each inning of the night.
Like we said, we are saying good-bye to the summer in style! Here's your Aesthetic Associates Fan Appreciation Night FAN GUIDE!
***UPDATE*** The Bisons have added a #MattVP POSTER GIVEAWAY to the first 15,000 fans at Fan Appreciation Night in honor of Matt Hague being named the 2015 International League Most Valuable Player!

The Bisons and Chiefs take the field at 6:05 p.m. but Coca-Cola Field's Swan Gate will OPEN AT THE SPECIAL TIME OF 4:30 p.m. All other gates will open at 5 p.m.
If you plan to use ballpark Will Call, it's also not a bad idea to leave a few minutes earlier to avoid longer lines, especially if you need to exchange undated flex tickets or rainout vouchers. The Coca-Cola Field Box Office will be open on Wednesday, September 2nd at 9:00 a.m. You can also purchase tickets in advance of Fan Appreciation Night and SAVE $1.00 on each ticket you buy. It's 4:30 p.m. somewhere!
The Bisons are opening Swan Gate early for a special Flying Bison HAPPY HOUR. The great fridaynigthbash! tradition comes to Fan Appreciation Night as you can enjoy great tasting craft beers for only $3 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Consumer's Craft Corner. So, get this great event started a little early and join us at the Flying Bison Happy Hour.
#MattVP Poster Giveaway
Another reason to get to the ballpark early, the Bisons announced on Tuesday that they have added a #MattVP Poster Giveaway to the first 15,000 fans in attendance on Fan Appreciation Night. He may now be the International League Most Valuable Player, but he was our #MattVP first!
Pre-Game Ceremonies start at 5:30 p.m.
You'll want to set up shop in your seat by 5:30 p.m. to enjoy all the pre-game festivities. As customary, the Bisons will announce all their end of season awards, such as the Most Valuable Player (gee, we wonder who is going to win that one)….but we also got the Pitcher of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year, Hometown Hero and Most Inspirational Player to name as well as the Fan of the Year. The Bisons will also give fans a complete rundown on the rest of the night's festivities and how you can win prizes throughout the game!
Giveaways Galore!
As has been custom with Fan Appreciation Night, the Bisons will have special giveaways throughout the night. Each half inning, you'll want to pay attention to the Bisons Big Board or the two club-level message boards as well reveal the lucky seat and maybe even the lucky row of seats that can claim a great prize.
What could you win? How about an overnight stay from Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel? We've got gift cards from 716 Food and Sport, Dick's Sporting Goods, Pearl St. Grille, Anderson's Ice Cream, The Archer, Bounce Magic, Citgo, Sahlen's, Wegmans and Russell's Steaks, Chops & More. Or, you could win tickets from Darien Lake, Kissing Bridge and Ripley's Aquarium, not to mention passes to great 2016 Bisons events like Independence Eve, Star Wars Night and Superhero Night. More prizes to be announced, as well!
Plus, we've got a little something extra this year! The Bisons will be giving away game-worn and autographed player jerseys from this year's Blue Jays Weekend promotion. There's over 25 'Affiliation Throwback' jerseys that will be randomly given out throughout the night. For some, you'll need to follow the Bisons on twitter at @BuffaloBisons. Others will be given away only at the special Fan Appreciation Night Happy Hour or to Bisons season ticket holders. What we can tell you is you have to be here to win….so get to the ballpark early and totally immerse yourself in one of the best nights of the year.
DEALS!
Make sure you stop by both the Batter's Box Gift Shop and the Bisons Team Shop on Fan Appreciation Night. There will be Clearance Tables set up at both locations where some Bisons merchandise will be marked down as low as 60% OFF!
50/50 for two!
The Bisons will hold a 50/50 raffle throughout the game, but this time TWO people will win. If you don't take home the grand prize, you can still win a helicopter ride from Rainbow Air Helicopter Tours as part of a Second Chance Giveaway!
Remembering a great season
Fan Appreciation Night is our chance to look back at a tremendous season at Coca-Cola Field together. And on this final night, each inning will be used to pay tribute to some of the bigger events. We'll have a Star Wars Night inning, a Superhero Night inning and of course an Independence Eve inning to give fans one more chance to relive their favorite events!
One last Fireworks Show
Fan Appreciation Night won't end until one more fantastic FIREWORKS SHOW. We've got one of our largest shows of the season planned, so you'll want to make sure you stick around and wrap up your Fan Appreciation Night the only way you should!
