Lynx reveal 15th anniversary logo
The logo uses the roman numerals for 15, "XV," in the same style as the script on the Lynx uniforms. The trademark Lynx logo of cat eyes and a claw gripping a baseball is superimposed over the numerals and is flanked by the years 1993 and 2007 -- the first season of Lynx baseball and the anniversary season, respectively.
Other details of note include a maple leaf in the top-right corner, a proud symbol of the club's status as the only Triple-A baseball club in Canada, as well as the prevalence of the Lynx colours: red, black, gray and gold.
This is only the first step in the club's anniversary celebration. Soon the Lynx will post a survey on www.ottawalynx.com to ask Lynx fans for their fondest memories of the first 14 seasons of Lynx baseball. Fans, send your stories and photos of the best moments from the past 14 season. Your memories will be a big part of the celebration.
