The two teams swapped runs all game in a close contest that included five lead changes. Gomez went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs, falling a single shy of the Chihuahuas' first cycle. Ramiro Pena went 2-for-3 with an RBI double in the seventh inning, which at the time broke a 2-2 tie. Hunter Renfroe hit a solo homer, his fifth longball in only 13 Triple-A games.
