Senators Set All-Time Single-Season Attendance Mark

The Harrisburg Senators are pleased to announce that Sunday's turnout of 6,521 fans at Metro Bank Park pushed the season attendance to an all-time high of 298,162. In their 29th season since returning to the Eastern League, the Senators surpassed the previous record set in 2010 when the team drew 294,325 fans.

With one game at home remaining on Monday afternoon, the Senators are 1,838 fans away from topping 300,000 for the first time in their history. The Senators are averaging 4,384 fans per game over 69 dates this season which is also the highest the team has drawn in the modern era.

"We'd really like to thank our fans for a great 2015 season," said Senators President Kevin Kulp. "We had so much fun and are really looking forward to some great things moving forward. We can't wait to start putting 2016 in motion starting next week. April can't get here fast enough"

A strong promotional schedule featuring two appearances by the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo, Christmas in July with a Bryce Harper Mayfly snow globe giveaway, and the return of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders drove the attendance to new heights in 2015. The team also drew their all-time third highest single-game total on July 3rd when 8,012 fans came through the gates at Metro Bank Park for baseball and fireworks.
