Rick Worman Named Brawlers Head Coach for 2015 Season

The Mahoning Valley Brawlers, in conjunction with the FXFL (Fall Experimental Football League), are pleased to announce Rick Worman as the Head Coach of the Mahoning Valley Brawlers for the 2015 season.

Rick Worman is a 16-year coaching veteran, including 11 years at the Pro level in the CFL(Canadian Football League) as an Offensive Coordinator and position coach. His offenses have proven to be exciting and explosive leading statistical categories in points scored, yards gained and time of possession. He is known for quarterback development, guiding two unknown CFL QB's to MVP award status while leading the league in passing efficiency. Rick also played quarterback for 19 years, including 6 years as a Pro in the CFL, gaining valuable experience in forming his unique style of personnel packages and play calling.

"I'm extremely excited to be a part of the FXFL Developmental League" states Worman. "There are literally hundreds of players on the edge of making NFL rosters that need some refinement in their skills and game tape to show what they are capable of producing. The vision and timing of Brian Woods to launch this league to showcase players is right in line with my passion for skill enhancement."

The Mahoning Valley Brawlers are a professional football team based out of Niles, Ohio. They will open their season at Eastwood Field on October 3, as part of the Fall Experimental Football League, better known as the FXFL. The FXFL is a professional football league, which was founded in May 2014 by Commissioner and CEO, Brian Woods.
