The duties of the Assistant Box Office Manager consist of daily box office duties such as handling incoming ticket calls, providing customer service to current and potential ticket package holders, and maintaining will-call operations for the duration of the season. 

The Assistant Box Office Manager will assist the Box Office Manager with contacting current and new ticket sales clients to confirm or develop interest for the upcoming season with regards to season tickets or ticket packages.  The Assistant Box Office Manager will also be responsible for and manage their portion of the database system and keep records current and accurate.  Responsibilities will also include assisting other departments when requested or needed.  All job tasks should be performed in compliance with the philosophy, policies, goals, and budget of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers / Appleton Baseball Club.

Essential Functions

Understand and effectively meet or exceed individual and team ticket goals by prospecting for new inside/outside sales accounts through cold calls and telemarketing.  
Develop new season ticket customers and maintain a positive relationship with current ticket holders including answering questions, troubleshooting, taking and following through on orders, delivering tickets, and arranging for invoicing.  
Operate ticketing software, database and keep records current and accurate.
Assist with mailing of ticket sales materials.
Promote and sell all types of inventory to clients, providing suggestions for new items.
Assist in scheduling ticket office employees.

Other duties would include assisting the front office staff with other tasks as they arise along with assisting with the game day staff development.

The Assistant Box Office Manager is a full time, seasonal position.  Employment is preferred from mid-February through September.  The job will consist of 40 hours per week plus nights and weekends during the season.
