Marauders Receive 2nd Straight Moss Award Nomination

Franchise honored as FSL leader in community service

Daytona Beach, Fla. - Florida State League President Ken Carson has announced the League's nominees for the major awards to be presented at the Baseball Winter Meetings in Nashville, TN this December. The Bradenton Marauders received one nomination. The Marauders were nominated for the John Henry Moss Community Service Award.

The Marauders have been nominated for the Moss Award in consecutive seasons. This is the third consecutive year the Marauders have been nominated for a major award.

The Marauders donated over $12,000 to local foundations and performed over 600 hours of community service between players and staff. Highlights of the team's community efforts this year include players visit to the St. Petersburg All Children's Hospital and a clinic put on for Miracle League of Manasota participants.
