Tom Browning to Appear at Dragons Open House Saturday
The Dayton Dragons announced today that legendary former Cincinnati Reds pitcher Tom Browning will appear at the Dragons first-ever "Open House" at Fifth Third Field on Saturday, October 3rd.
The event is free of charge and will run from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Browning will appear from 2:00-3:30 p.m. and will be available for autographs and photos. Additionally, Browning's 2015 autographed uniform jersey will be part of a raffle at the event. Other Dragons autographed memorabilia will also be included in the raffle.
Browning, the Dragons pitching coach in 2015, tossed the only perfect game in Reds history on September 16, 1988. Browning was the starting and winning pitcher for game three of the 1990 World Series and pitched in the 1991 MLB All-Star Game. He won at least 14 games six times over his career with the Reds from 1984-'94 and was inducted into the Reds Hall-of-Fame in 2006.
The Dragons Open House includes an exclusive opportunity talk to Dragons representatives about a season ticket package and group outing for the 2016 season. Plans are available for 8, 9, 17, 35, and 70-game packages. Fans will also have the opportunity to tour luxury suites, party decks, and other hospitality options that can fit the needs of groups of all sizes.
Kids are invited to bring their baseball gloves and play catch on the field with family and friends, run the bases, enjoy the inflatable Bounce House, Maze Craze, Pop-a-Shot, and T-Ball areas that are popular at Dragons games.
