Job Title: Executive Marketing Coordinator (Outside Sales)
Reports To: Vice President of Sales & Marketing - Dan Reiter
Classification: Full-time, non-exempt with benefits
Summary of Responsibilities:
Executive Marketing Coordinators will be responsible for building new business relationships that generate new ticket sales with the Springfield Business Community. They will be responsible for generating new accounts each year through cold calling, meetings, and up-selling existing customers. They will focus primarily on Springfield businesses and will be responsible for all paperwork, tracking, scheduling and payment of all accounts sold.

- Sell multiple accounts by building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service as the direct contact with the organization.
- To utilize both scripted sales plan as well as individualized approach to close as many accounts as possible.
- Develop a business needs analysis on each prospect to sell season tickets, group tickets, all-inclusive tickets and individual tickets to meet the needs of the business/person.
- Invoice and collect payments from accounts, including setting up payment plans and monitoring compliance.
- Continue to build relationships by hosting clients/prospects at multiple team events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of Sales Experience; 2 years preferred.
- General knowledge of baseball rules and sports industry.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Aggressive, competitive, professional, self-motivated work ethic to help exceed sales goals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to stand on feet and walk comfortably for long periods of time.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
