Free concert featuring The Uptown Band and Groovemasters will double as fundraiser for Alissa B.
October 2, 2015

Tonight's Funk Fest concert featuring The Uptown Band and the Groovemasters at FirstEnergy Stadium has been rescheduled for Monday, October 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. due to inclement weather. Proceeds raised during the night via the 50/50 raffle will benefit local musician and friend of both bands Alisa B. Admission to the event is FREE.

Thanks Hurricane Joaquin, the night will be a "in the business" night for those in the restaurant and music industry in the region. Columbus Day's event will feature live music, great food, and is a dog friendly event.

Diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer last December, Alisa B has given back so much to the community through charity performances and through the Reading Musical Foundation. She is currently in hospice care and is need of fund for her medical costs and inability to work. Those interested in donating to her GoFundMe campaign can do so here: https://www.gofundme.com/yz4tqgr5
