Presentan a Tuzos en Guanajuato
Guanajuato, Gto. (www.leones.mx / Mario Serrano) 12 de octubre.- Los Tuzos de Guanajuato se presentaron oficialmente como sucursal de los Leones de Yucatán en la Liga Invernal Mexicana.
En rueda de medios realizada en uno de los principales restaurantes del centro histórico de Guanajuato, la directiva de los Leones de Yucatán dio a conocer todos los detalles de su equipo AA bajo el nombre de Tuzos, que ha sido el equipo emblemático de esa ciudad.
El Lic. Francisco Torres, director de la COMUDAJ, dio las palabras de bienvenida a los melenudos y agradeció el interés puesto por la organización para regresar el beisbol.
"Todo el municipio de Guanajuato se compromete a brindarle todo el apoyo a los Tuzos para que sea un equipo ganador y representativo, estamos contentos por tener este espectáculo deportivo".
El Lic. Isaac Piña, titular de la CODE invitó a que todos los aficionados disfruten esta Liga Invernal Mexicana a lo largo de sus más de 30 juegos, enfatizando que en la región el beisbol es un deporte muy popular.
"Agradecemos al club Leones de Yucatán y a la LMB por considerar al estado de Guanajuato para albergar esta importante liga de desarrollo, que al mismo tiempo fomenta la actividad deportiva en todas las familias".
Por parte de la directiva selvática, el Lic. Mario Ceballos, agradeció el apoyo de las autoridades municipales y estatales por comprometerse a apoyar a la organización con este nuevo proyecto que seguramente será de gran impacto en la sociedad.
"Queremos revivir la tradición que se tenía de ir a disfrutar el beisbol profesional, lo importante es tener un sano espacio de convivencia; venimos con la mentalidad de hacer grandes cosas, por lo cual estaremos trabajando fuerte bajo una operación muy cercana a la que manejamos en la Liga Mexicana".
El horario de juegos que tendrán los Tuzos de Guanajuato en el Parque José Aguilar y Maya será a las 17 horas de lunes a sábado, mientras que los domingos los encuentros arrancarán a las 12 hrs.
Los precios serán populares con acceso general a $50, niños y adultos mayores $20. Considerando que a lo largo de la temporada habrán diversas actividades para que la afición pueda asistir a la mayor cantidad de juegos.
En la rueda de medios también estuvieron presentes algunos emblemáticos jugadores locales de los años 60's, como Francisco Flores y el C.P. Crisoforo Aranda, quien aprovechó para hablar de la historia de los Tuzos y lo que significa para la ciudad.
Posteriormente el C.P. José Rivero Ancona, gerente deportivo de las fieras, presentó el calendario regular de la Temporada 2015 que será de 62 juegos, a rol corrido y con un sistema de competencia similar al de LMB, jugando de martes a domingo en series de tres encuentros.
Tuzos de Guanajuato (Leones de Yucatán), tendrá 31 juegos en casa, abriendo la serie inaugural contra Toros de Moroleón (Toros y Rojos del Águila) el próximo sábado 17, para al día siguiente devolverles la visita en el Estadio Municipal de Moroleón.
Las escuadras participantes son: Tuzos de Guanajuato (Leones), Diablos Rojos del México (Diablos y Guerreros), Rieleros de Aguascalientes (Rieleros y Tigres), Petroleros de Salamanca (Sultanes y Vaqueros), Toros de Moroleón (Toros y Rojos del Águila), y Cajeteros de Celaya (Saraperos y Pericos).

Los rosters de los equipos serán de hasta 30 jugadores, conformados por 26 peloteros de 28 años o menos y hasta cuatro peloteros con edad libre, todos mexicanos. Esto para mantener el principal propósito de desarrollo de talentos, dándole la oportunidad a muchachos mediante un circuito de alto nivel.
