2016 Schedule With Game Times Formally Announced

Opening Day is Thursday, April 14th against Greensboro at 6:35 pm

LAKEWOOD, NJ - With just six months left until Opening Day, the BlueClaws have released game times for all 70 home games in 2016, starting with a 6:35 pm tilt with Greensboro on April 14th, Opening Day.

Monday - Thursday night games will again be at 6:35 pm in April & May, moving to 7:05 pm beginning in June. All Friday night games will start at 7:05 pm and include post-game fireworks. Saturday games will start at 4:05 pm in April and May, moving to 7:05 pm in June.

All Sunday home games, with two exceptions, will start at 1:05 pm. The only 7:05 pm Sunday home games are on 4th of July weekend (Sunday, July 3rd) and Labor Day weekend (Sunday, September 4th). 

The BlueClaws will also hold three 11:05 am Education Days: Wednesday, April 27th, Wednesday, May 25th, and Wednesday, June 8th. Two Camp Days will take place on Wednesday, July 20th and Tuesday, July 26th. The lone other special game time is Thursday, August 25th with a 6:05 pm start. 

Nine teams will come to Lakewood this year: all six Northern Division rivals and three from the Southern Division (Charleston, Greenville, and Lexington). 

The BlueClaws will host Charleston, the Yankees South Atlantic League affiliate, from April 26th - 28th and Greenville, the Red Sox South Atlantic League affiliate, from April 29th - May 2nd, over one seven-game homestand. 

The schedule includes 11 Fridays (which will have post-game fireworks), 11 Saturdays, and 13 Thursdays (which are Thirsty Thursdays featuring dollar beer and soda plus 50-cent wings in the Coors Light WRAT Trap).
