Fall Fan Fest Coming Saturday, October 24

Free event allows fans to take batting practice on field, select seats for 2016 season

DURHAM, NC - The Durham Bulls will host their 2015 Fall Fan Fest on Saturday, October 24 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fans will be able to take batting practice and play catch on the field, and enter into a raffle to win a Trick-or-Treat outing with Wool E. Bull. Additionally, the Ballpark Corner Store will be having an end-of-season blowout sale.

Entry to Fall Fan Fest is free, while with a donation of at least three canned food items fans will be placed into a raffle to win a Trick-or-Treat outing with Wool E. Bull, where the team's mascot will accompany a family through its neighborhood on Halloween evening. All canned food items will be donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

The Ballpark Corner Store will be hosting a yard sale with select merchandise marked down as much as 75 percent, while game-used bats will be just $15 and all fitted hats will be marked at $20. Bulls ticket representatives will also be available to showcase available season ticket locations and provide tours of the exclusive PNC Triangle Club.

On the stadium's concourse, Bull City Hospitality will be serving Bright Leaf Hot Dogs, wings, nachos, Pepsi products and more at a discounted price, as the concession stand will be open for the duration of the event.

The Durham Bulls open the 2016 International League season on Thursday, April 7 against the Charlotte Knights at the DBAP. Full season, mini-plan and group ticket packages for the 2016 season are available now.
