PawSox Again Treat Youngsters to World Series Trip

Local Youngsters Head to New York to See Mets Host the Royals in Games 3, 4 & 5 of the 2015 World Series at Citi Field
October 29, 2015

A pair of young local baseball fans will attend Games 3, 4 & 5 of the 2015 World Series at Citi Field in New York this weekend as the Pawtucket Red Sox once again have provided two lucky winners from the Boys and Girls Club of Pawtucket with an all-expense paid trip to the World Series.

This year's trip marks the 26th year that the PawSox have sent a pair of youngsters (along with a parent each) to baseball's showcase event.

The Boys and Girls Club winners were chosen from eligible club members prior to a PawSox game at McCoy last August. They are Dominic Sicignano, 13, and Ilyas Torrres, 12, both from Pawtucket. The youngsters will be accompanied by Dominic's mother Katy and Ilyas' father Josue.

The four will have great seats in New York for the Fall Classic as the Mets try to capture their first World Series championship since 1986 while the Royals bid to win their first World Series since 1985.
