Rockies release 2016 season schedule

Grand Junction celebrates fifth opening day on June 17 at Suplizio

Pioneer Baseball League officials announced the 2016 schedule today and the Grand Junction Rockies will celebrate Opening Day at home on Friday, June 17th against the Orem Owlz. Six of the first 10 games will be played at Suplizio Field as the Rockies embark on their 5th Anniersary season in Grand Junction. 

The Rockies will play five Friday night home games along with a Monday, July 4th contest against Orem, and all Sunday home games during the 2016 season will see a new start time of 7:05pm. Some of the top prospects in baseball will be featured during the PBL/NWL All-Star Game scheduled for Tuesday, August 2nd at Lindquist Field in Ogden, Utah. 

In celebration of the 5th Anniversary season, current season ticket members have until December 18, 2015, to renew their tickets for just $280.00. The general public may purchase 2016 season tickets beginning Monday, January 11th at a reduced price of $305, a savings of fifteen dollars from the 2015 season ticket price.
