PULASKI YANKEE'S MASCOT, CALF-E, MAKING APPEARANCES THROUGHOUT NEW RIVER VALLEY

PULASKI, VA - The Pulaski Yankees mascot, Calf-E, has been making appearances throughout the New River Valley to rally fans in the off-season. Calf-E's first appearance was last week at the Blue Ridge Church in Christiansburg, where he mingled with children and local fans of the Yankees Minor League Baseball team.

Kim Kinder spoke on behalf of Blue Ridge Church about their experience with Calf-E; "The kids were absolutely thrilled to have Calf-E visit. We loved seeing Calf-E share his hugs, coloring skills, high-fives, in addition to posing for hundreds of pictures with our kids and teachers. It was a special day for our kids, families, and whole church! Thank you, Pulaski Yankees, for sharing Calf-E with us!"

Calf-E will continue to make appearances at local events throughout the off-season. 2016 will be an exciting year for the Pulaski Yankees - as the ownership plans to re-vamp seats, box suites, and ticket offices at Historic Calfee Park. As a Minor League Affiliate of the New York Yankees, the Pulaski Yankees are home to Calfee Park in Pulaski, Virginia.2015 marked the inaugural season for this Rookie-League Team - where they took an Eastern Division Title in the Appalachian League and doubled the total attendance from 2014.
