Partial Season Ticket Plans for the 2016 All-Star Season Available Now

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - With the holiday season just around the corner, the Charlotte Knights are pleased to introduce four new and exciting partial season ticket plans for the upcoming 2016 All-Star season at BB&T Ballpark. These four unique partial plans -- which are named after four all-time great players in Charlotte Baseball history -- feature 18-games each for a total of just $297 per seat.

"These partial plans offer phenomenal value to any fan who is interested in attending 18 Charlotte Knights games in 2016," said Charlotte Knights Director of Ticket Operations Matt Millward. "Each plan features something different and gives fans a unique experience when they attend games at BB&T Ballpark."

Each of the four partial season ticket plans feature a preferred Field Box seat location, discount off of regular ticket pricing, online ticket account management, and a priority purchase opportunity for 2016 Triple-A All-Star week tickets. The Knights, along with the City of Charlotte, and Mecklenburg County will host the 2016 Triple-A All-Star Game and All-Star Festivities from July 11 to July 13.

The four new partial plans that are now available to fans for the 2016 season are as follows:

  • Ripken Plan - Named after Charlotte O's legend and National Baseball Hall-of-Famer Cal Ripken Jr., this plan includes Opening Day (Thursday, April 14), two Friday night fireworks games (April 22 & June 17) and the fireworks finale (Sunday, September 4).
     
  • Killebrew Plan - Named after Charlotte Hornets legendary slugger and National Baseball Hall-of-Famer Harmon Killebrew, this plan includes the 11th Annual Pink Knights game (Saturday, May 14), three Friday night fireworks games (April 15, July 8, & August 5), and the team's final 2016 regular season game (Monday, September 5).
     
  • Thome Plan - Named after Charlotte Knights legend Jim Thome, who won the International League Most Valuable Player Award with the team in 1993, this plan includes July 4th along with two Friday night fireworks games (June 3 & July 29), and premium dates featuring the Triple-A affiliates of the Atlanta Braves (Thursday, July 7 & Wednesday, August 17), and Boston Red Sox (Monday, July 4).
     
  • Danks Plan - NEW FOR 2016! - Named after the team's all-time hits leader, Jordan Danks, this special flex ticket plan includes a set of 12 Charlotte Knights games plus the choice of any six 2016 Charlotte Knights games -- giving fans ultimate flexibility.
