Graphic Design and Social Media Manager - Las Vegas 51s Baseball Team
Graphic Design and Social Media Manager will be responsible for the daily content on all social media platforms for the Las Vegas 51s with the goal to create the best and most appropriate engaging content as it relates to fans and partners. It will also include assisting in marketing initiatives for the 51s to positively impact business (ticket sales and sponsorship) and elevate the 51s' profile in the sports and entertainment marketplace. Additionally the position will be required to create graphics in support of social media content and support in-stadium videoboard, as well as assist the VP of Marketing with marketing materials for 51s marketing efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media
• Write and create appealing posts enhanced with graphically relevant content
• Work with VP of Marketing to develop promotional content
• Work with VP of Marketing to assist with content as it relates to sponsorship and ticketing objectives
• Monitor all social media platforms and interact with follower's messages, comments and questions when appropriate
• Analyze available data from activity on team's social channels
• Identifies strategies for increasing the number of qualified followers, and implements
• Is familiar with and able to utilize technology to maximize social program - video posting, measurement tools, source codes, etc.
Graphic Design
• Assist in creating marketing materials for various external 51s marketing needs including and not limited to billboard ads, program ads, print publications, newspaper ads, digital ads, etc.
• Advertising graphics for in-stadium promotion of upcoming 51s events
• Create graphic content for social media platforms
•
Game Day
• Assist press box staff with graphics for videoboard
• Update social media channels with relevant game commentary
• Update social media channels with final score and synopsis of each home game
• Assist on-field promotional team with recording of sponsor content to be used on social media channels
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years of experience with social media in a team environment
• Understanding of various social media platforms
• Ability to create unique, in-game content for social media platforms
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills with the ability to plan and multi-task
• Computer software knowledge and experience; Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Willingness to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays as is relevant within the parameters of a minor league baseball schedule
• Being aware of moving trends within marketing and social media space
• Customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness to be a team player
