Storm to debut "Winter Wonderland"
LAKE ELSINORE, CA - The Lake Elsinore Storm have announced the newest addition to their offseason events schedule with the debut of Winter Wonderland, a three-night holiday extravaganza at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore. THE EVENT WILL BE OPEN 5PM TO 9PM EACH NIGHT.
From December 18 through December 20, the stadium will feature:
- An animated Christmas light show
- A holiday-themed maze with animatronic sleigh ride
- Hay rides around the field
- Pictures with Santa
- Inflatables
- Appearances by Storm mascot Thunder
- Holiday music, food and drinks
"After having so much fun and success with our Field of Screams this year, we wanted to create a new holiday-themed event for Southwest Riverside County," Director of Storm Events Ian Singleton said. "Much like how the Haunted Stadium began eight years ago, we're starting off small in hopes of establishing an annual holiday tradition for families in our community for years to come."
Admission to each night is $5 and those who donate an unwrapped gift worth $10 or more will get in for free. All gift donations will benefit Cops for Kids Lake Elsinore, who distribute the gifts to local children in need this holiday season. There will be no charge for parking or for children three years old and under.
