2016 San Jose Giants Home Times Announced
San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants released all home game times in anticipation of the 2016 season. First pitch for the Giants home opener will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 7 at Municipal Stadium against the Lancaster JetHawks. The 2016 San Jose Giants Home Schedule is headlined by games at Municipal Stadium on Mother's Day (May 8, 1:00 PM), Memorial Day (May 30, 2:00 PM), Father's Day (June 19, 1:00 PM) and Independence Day (July 4, 6:30 PM). The 2016 schedule will also continue to feature 6:30 PM start times with 12 mid-week evening games in April through July.
Companies will have a number of great opportunities to bring their staffs and clients to Municipal Stadium with the San Jose Giants hosting eight weekday afternoon games in 2016. Additionally, the Giants' Sunday games will begin at 1:00 PM through June and then switch to evening start times in July and August. The team's final regular season home game will take place on Labor Day at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 5.
The San Jose Giants full 2016 promotional schedule will be released in the coming months, but the 70 home game schedule is anticipated to include the return of fan favorite theme nights such as Star WarsTM Night, Breast Cancer Awareness Night, A Giant Luau and Italian Night, while other new events are also expected. Next season will also include festivities celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the California League.
Ticket packages for the 2016 San Jose Giants baseball season are on sale now. The organization is excited to announce a new premium seating section located behind home plate. The Luxury Box Seats are padded seats straight from the Lexus Batter's Box at AT&T Park in San Francisco and will replace the existing Box Seats in Section D. Box Seat, Upper Reserved and General Admission tickets also remain as options for fans looking to purchase a Full-Season, Half-Season, Mini-Plan or Bonus Book season ticket package.
