Ryan Straney's Bio

Ryan Straney, Business Manager

2017 will be Ryan's eight season with the Tourists. He began his tenure in Asheville as the team's Clubhouse Manager and was promoted to the front office as Business Manager shortly after the 2010 season. His primary responsibilities for the Tourists' include financial reporting, managing accounts receivable & payable, and handling all aspects of the team's travel.

Ryan is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Sport Management. Originally from Pittsburgh, Ryan is an avid Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan. While away from McCormick Field Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Kimmy and his dog Sidney, as well as attending as many live sporting events as he can.
