Editors Note: Brandon Berns has been with the Shorebirds in a variety of roles since May of 2007 when he started as an intern. The 25-year old is now the Senior Ticket Sales Account Executive in charge of selling Shorebirds fun to the Eastern Shore. Berns has done everything at the ballpark from serving as the public address announcer and the master of ceremonies to overseeing the catered group areas. His best friend at the ballpark is without question, Sherman.

In Berns' Own Words
I was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Schuylkill Haven, a small coal town outside of Pottsville (where they brew Yuengling Beer). I graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2007, where I spent all four years as the university's mascot (Rocky). While in college, I was a brother of Theta Xi Fraternity, a commuter senator for Slippery Rock student government and an intramural supervisor/official for all intramural sports on campus. Also while in college, I was voted the 2005 Homecoming King! Upon graduating, I took an internship with the Shorebirds in the summer of 2007 and have been here ever since. While with the Shorebirds, I have held the roles of Group & Ticket Sales Executive, Ticket Office Manager, Marketing Manager & my new most current role of Senior Ticket Account Executive. I am a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Miami Dolphins, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the New York Mets!

What are you up to in the Offseason?
My off-season usually consists of trying to recharge after a long season, hanging with my good friend Sherman on community appearances and traveling (especially to Pittsburgh for weddings). Currently, we are planning all the events that will make the 2011 season great for the fans, which includes the 2011 South Atlantic League "Strike Out Hunger" All Star Game. Overall, my days consist of selling our various ticket packages and group outings to our great fans around the Delmarva Peninsula!

Ten Questions With Berns...
1) If you could eat dinner with three people, who would they be? Adam Sandler, Nick Adenhart (RIP #34) and John Cena.
2) If you inherited a million dollars, what would you do with it? Pay off all debts and take an extended vacation to somewhere warm and invest the rest into buying a sports team (either in minor league hockey or minor league baseball).
3) Best two athletes that few people talk about? Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Andre Johnson (Houston Texans).
4) MLB ballpark that you really want to go to? Fenway Park and Wrigley Field (historical sake) or Angel Stadium.
5) What's more impressive in your mind, hitting four home runs in a game or throwing a perfect game? Throwing a perfect game.
6) Favorite city in the US? Pittsburgh, PA
7) If you could walk in one persons shoes for one day, who would it be? David Beckham, not so much for the soccer aspect of his life but everything else or Lebron James, pre making the decision to go to the Miami Heat.
8) In your opinion who are the top five mascots in college sports?

9) Best restaurant in your hometown? Roman Delight in Orwigsburg; I worked there while in high school and college breaks, so it may be a homer pick, but they have the best chicken parmesan in Schuylkill County.
10) Best sporting event that you have attended? I sat in the student section of the South Carolina vs. Florida game in Columbia, SC. It was Steve Spurrier's first game versus his old team, which South Carolina won 30-22 in front of a capacity crowd of 83,000 at Williams Brice Stadium. A close second was the 2006 MLB All Star Game at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
