Chef John Besh Headlines NOLA, Texas Food and Music Festival With a Big Easy Brunch

World-Renowned Chef to Host VIP Brunch as Highlight of Inaugural Festival

Cedar Park, Texas - Louisiana native and New Orleans culinary expert John Besh is bringing his Nawlin's flare to the NOLA, Texas Food and Music Festival as host of Besh Big Easy VIP Brunch Sunday, April 3 at Cedar Park Center.

Tickets to Besh Big Easy VIP Brunch are $150 and include:

Besh has set the benchmark for fine dining in New Orleans with twelve acclaimed restaurants (August, Besh Steak, Luke, Luke San Antonio, La Provence, Domenica, Pizza Domenica, Borgne, Johnny Sanchez New Orleans, Johnny Sanchez Baltimore, Shaya and Willa Jean) that celebrate the bounty and traditions of the Louisiana region.

Throughout his career, Besh has received numerous awards and accolades including induction into the James Beard Foundation "Who's Who in Food & Beverage" in 2014, "Top 10 Best Chefs in America" by Food & Wine, and the coveted James Beard Award for Best Chef of the Southwest in 2006.

"I'm excited to be part of this festival's incredible lineup and bring a taste of New Orleans to Texas," said Besh. "We share a passion for authentic food and great music." Besh will be assisted by Chef John Russ of Lüke San Antonio, which was the Besh Restaurant Group's first restaurant outside of Louisiana and brought Old World cuisine that incorporates a New Orleans touch to Texas.

The NOLA, Texas Food and Music Festival features storied musical acts such as Dr. John, Leon Russell, Asleep at the Wheel, Cowboy Mouth and more. Additional musical guests will be announced next week. Crawfish King Chris "Shaggy" Davis, Besh and other New Orleans- inspired food and drinks will also highlight the first-time event.
