Terry Pendleton & Dustin Evans added to Hot Stove Lineup

Atlanta Braves legend Terry Pendleton has been added to the guest list of tonight's Hot Stove Gathering at the Forum. Pendleton currently serves as the Atlanta Braves first base coach and 2016 will mark his 15th season on the Braves' coaching staff. As a player, Pendleton enjoyed a 15 year career and was named the N.L. Most Valuable Player in 1991 and was selected to the All-Star team in 1992 while playing for the Braves. Former Rome Brave and current southern scouting supervisor Dustin Evans will also be on hand event. 

Pendleton and Evans join Atlanta President of Baseball Operations John Hart, Atlanta Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez, Rome Braves field staff of manager Randy Ingle, hitting coach Bobby Moore, new pitching coach Dan Meyer and new trainer Joe Luat. Additional guests include Atlanta Braves Assistant Director of Player Development Jonathan Schuerholz, Manager of Minor League Operations AJ Scola, Gwinnett Braves Manager Brian Snitker, Director of Scouting Brian Bridges, 2015 Rome Braves players Matt Tellor and Sean Furney, and former Rome Brave and current head baseball coach at Shorter University Wes Timmons. 

The annual event, in its 14th year, benefits local charities. Fans can enjoy an "all you can eat" gourmet ballpark fare dinner including hot dogs, chili dogs, slaw dogs, and much more. There will be a sports memorabilia silent auction from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door) and can be purchased at the Rome Braves ticket office and online at romebraves.com. Children's tickets are $10 in advance ($12 at the door). 

The Rome Braves open the season on April 7th against the Augusta GreenJackets at 7 p.m.
