Isotopes, Cumulus Extend Broadcast Relationship
The Albuquerque Isotopes and Cumulus Media have extended their working partnership an additional five years, meaning 610-AM KNML will remain the home of Isotopes baseball through the 2020 season.
Since the Isotopes inaugural season in 2003, 610 The Sports Animal has served as the club's flagship station.
"Fans have been able to enjoy Isotopes games on The Sports Animal since our first year in 2003 and we're excited to continue what has been a great relationship," said Isotopes General Manager John Traub. "Given the breadth and power of the Cumulus network throughout New Mexico, it's a relationship that means a lot to our success."
The Isotopes launch their 2016 campaign on April 7, beginning with an eight-game road trip through Tacoma and Reno.
The team returns to Isotopes Park for the 2016 Home Opener on Friday, April 15 when the Isotopes take on the Rainiers. All of the action can be heard live on 610 The Sports Animal beginning with the Isotopes Pre-Game Show, airing 20 minutes before game time.
Returning for his fourth year behind the microphone, Isotopes broadcaster Josh Suchson will call each of the club's 144 games this season. The first broadcaster in Isotopes history, Bob Socci, is presently the play-by-play announcer for the New England Patriots.
