'Birds Schedule 14 Fireworks Shows In 2016

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds, Class A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, will light up the skies over Arthur W. Perdue Stadium 14 times during the 2016 season.

Every Saturday home date will feature a postgame pyrotechnic display, while a pair of select Friday home games and the 4th of July will also feature shows.

The first fireworks show of the season, presented by the Delaware State Education Association, is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at 7:05 p.m. when the Shorebirds take on the Hagerstown Suns.

"Our fireworks shows have become must-see events for this community, and we're excited to bring 14 to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium this year," Shorebirds general manager Chris Bitters said. "Our fireworks company, Fireworks Extravaganza, does an outstanding job of putting on entertaining shows for fans of all ages"

The firework displays will be scheduled to begin shortly after the final out of the game, and the scheduled shows are detailed below. All games will begin at 7:05 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
