California League Releases 75th Anniversary Logos

75th Anniversary Logo to be used throughout the 2016 San Jose Giants season

San Jose, CA- The California League released logos to commemorate its 75th Anniversary. The logo focuses on the league's Diamond Anniversary and will be used throughout the season, including the inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Lake Elsinore at the 2016 California-Carolina League All-Star game on June 21. The league has also created a special San Jose Giants logo to celebrate the 75th Anniversary.

The San Jose Giants unique California League 75th Anniversary logo will be featured as a commemorative patch on the team's primary hat. These hats will be worn by players on the field as well as available for purchase in the San Jose Giants Dugout Store.

Founded in 1941, the California League has produced 19 Hall of Famers, 16 MVP winners, 19 Cy Young recipients and 32 Rookie of the Year awards. Over 2,600 former California League players have reached the major leagues, 309 of which have come from San Jose, more than any other franchise in league history. George Brett, member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and 1972 San Jose Bees, will represent the San Jose franchise in the inaugural Hall of Fame Class.
