Create A Cancer Awareness Jersey for Round Rock Express

Express Opens Create-A-Jersey Contest Up to Kids 18 and Younger
February 15, 2016

ROUND ROCK, Texas - Have you ever wanted future major league stars to wear your jersey on the field? Now's your chance! The Round Rock Express is looking for jersey designs for our Cancer Awareness Night June 16 at Dell Diamond.

The Create-A-Jersey contest is open to all kids ages 18 and younger. The design theme follows the theme for the night and focuses on cancer awareness, without too much emphasis on one specific form of cancer, but rather be all-encompassing. The jerseys will be auctioned off following the game with proceeds benefitting B.I.G. Love Cancer Care, a nonprofit committed to providing basic necessities and personalized care to cancer kids and their families.

Submission forms are available online here and must be submitted by Tuesday, March 1. Forms can be dropped off at Dell Diamond during regular business hours or emailed to [email protected]. The winner will receive a jersey with his/her winning design, the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and four tickets to the Cancer Awareness Night on June 16. The grand prize winner will be announced on March 7.

The Express opens the 2016 season on the road before returning to Dell Diamond for the home opener on Friday, April 15 against the Iowa Cubs. For more information on the Express, visit www.RoundRockExpress.com or call (512) 255-2255. Keep up with the Express on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
