Curve to release single-game tickets with 29-Hour Leap Day Sale on Feb. 29

Fans will be able to purchase two tickets for $9 for opening homestand games and save 20 % off merchandise during the sale

CURVE, Pa. - The Altoona Curve will release 2016 single-game tickets with a 29-Hour Leap Day Sale beginning Monday, Feb. 29, complete with an accompanying merchandise sale.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Feb. 29, fans will be able to purchase two tickets for just $9 for any of the Curve's first seven home games (includes all regular seating areas except the Toyota Diamond Club, Rail Kings and suites). The sale will conclude on Tuesday, March 1 at 2 p.m.

The sale applies to the Curve's four-game, season-opening series against the Harrisburg Senators from April 7-10, as well as the three-game set against the Akron RubberDucks from April 11-13.

The special offer is available in person at Peoples Natural Gas Field, by phone at 877.99.CURVE and online at AltoonaCurve.com.

Fans will also be able to save 20 percent off all in-stock merchandise from 9 a.m. on Feb. 29 until 2 p.m. on March 1 by stopping by the Stockyard store at PNG Field or shopping online at AltoonaCurve.com using the coupon code 29HOURS.

The ticket office and Stockyard store will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday for the remainder of the 29-hour sale for those who would like to shop in person or by phone. Fans wishing to shop between 5 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday, will still be able to get the deals online at AltoonaCurve.com during that period.

"With Leap Day lining up with our first day of single-game ticket sales, we wanted to offer our fans a couple of unique deals to celebrate," said Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "To be able to get two tickets for just $9 for our Opening Day game and any of the games during our opening week is unprecedented for us. The 20 percent off merchandise sale will also give the fans a 'jump' on our latest offerings. We're looking forward to a busy 29 hours."

The Curve will hold an Opening Day Meet the Team Picnic for fans, as well, as the team hosts the Harrisburg Senators on Thursday, April 7 at PNG Field. The all-you-can-eat picnic in the U.S. Foods Picnic Pavilion will run from 5-7 p.m. with the team stopping by to greet fans. A limited number of tickets are available and can be purchased for $30 each.  

Single-game tickets for all 71 of the Curve's 2016 home games at Peoples Natural Gas Field will also be available beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 29. Season Tickets, Mini Plans and Flex Books are available now by stopping by the offices at PNG Field, calling 877.99.CURVE or visiting AltoonaCurve.com.
