Missions Announce 2016 Promotional Schedule
San Antonio - The San Antonio Missions are proud to announce their full promotional schedule for the 2016 seasons which marks the club's 23rd at Wolff Stadium and 111th in franchise history.
Highlighting this season's promotional calendar will be a special H-E-B Fourth of July Celebration, which includes a Post-Game Concert featuring Texas country star Kevin Fowler. A season-high, crowd of 8,178 packed the Wolff in 2014 to see Fowler put on an epic Independence Day performance.
On Sunday, May 29, fans will be treated to Mission Mitsubishi's Memorial Day Weekend Celebration, when Wade Bowen takes the Wolff Stadium stage for the first time. The Waco native has had a total of 10 Number 1's and 15 Top 5 Singles on the Texas Music Chart.
Both of the concert events begin with the Missions' game at 5:05 PM and will conclude with a fireworks extravaganza.
Many popular promotions are returning to The Wolff this season including Security Service Federal Credit Union's Used Car Night (7/15) and McCombs Ford West's Missions Replica Jersey giveaways nights.
This season's jersey series will pay homage to former Mission greats: Pedro Martinez's #45 Home jerseys on 4/22, Adam Jones' #10 Road jerseys on 6/10, Mike Piazza's #31 Alternate jerseys on 7/22 and Fernando Valenzuela's #34 Camo jerseys on 8/12.
Also returning in 2016 will be the three-part Missions Cap giveaway presented by IPAC. Those promotional dates are slated for 5/13 (Road), 7/1 (Patriotic) and 8/5 (Camo).
Other great promotional events include $2 Tuesdays. For all Tuesday home games, fans can get reserved tickets, parking, beer and Nicha's tacos for $2 each. On Thursdays, fans can take advantage of Cricket Dollar Nights, where beer, hot dogs and soda can be purchased for $1 each. Every Saturday night game will feature a post-game Fireworks Show.
