It's a Party at the Park!
The slogan 'Party at the Park' is the Kernels brand promise to their fans that it's a party every time they attend a game at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium and will be the central focus of the Kernels' marketing program. The Kernels promotional schedule, which will be released soon, features a full season of theme nights, fireworks shows, concerts, and promotional giveaways.
The Cedar Rapids Kernels open the 2011 season on the road at Peoria on Thursday, April 7, with the home opener on Monday, April 11 vs. Wisconsin at 6:35 pm. Season tickets and 10-game coupon books are on sale now at www.kernels.com, with individual game tickets going on sale March 21 at 10 am.
