Please keep in mind that the majority of our employees are positioned in either the Concession Stands or Turkey Mike's BBQ. If you are interested in a position currently filled you may still list it as a preference on your application and you will be considered if the position becomes available.

Promotional Crew & Street Team *
The San Jose Giants are currently scouting for Promotions Team Members to assist the Chief Marketing Officer with the execution of all in-park entertainment to enhance the ballpark atmosphere and fan experience. Sample projects include: event planning, involvement in the team's community affairs initiative, corporate client servicing, and grassroots marketing. Interns will participate in off-site appearances and spend an average of two days per week outside the office at appearances with our Mobile Marketing Unit, Gigante the mascot, and occasionally San Jose Giants players. Each intern is expected to be available to work all home games including weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Primary responsibilities will include between-inning promotions with the mascot (aired on the Video Board), and off-site street team promotions. Duties will also include helping with staff sales or marketing tables, visiting clients in their seats, and helping with pre-game, between-inning and post-game activities. Concessions- Beverage Deck Attendant
The Beverage Deck is where most fans go to purchase beer and other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Responsibilities include: preparing, serving, and selling beverages such as beer, mixed drinks, water, and soft drinks; setting up concessions-related equipment and sale items; maintaining product par levels and inventory control items; storing concessions items according to posted beverage storage instructions; assisting with the upkeep, cleaning and maintenance of concessions stands and equipment; processing beverage transactions including extensive cash handling; maintaining your individual sales area in a neat and orderly fashion; complying with applicable health codes and safety rules; serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with the state and local restriction, and performing related concessions duties as assigned. All Beverage Deck Attendants must meet certain qualifications to be eligible to serve. Qualifications include: prior restaurant and/or cash handling experience; strong organizational and customer service skills; and availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings. In accordance with California state liquor laws, this position may only be filled by an employee 18 or over.

Concessions Staff Shift Supervisor
The San Jose Giants, one of the premiere Minor League Baseball franchises both in terms of on-field success and customer satisfaction, is looking for bright enthusiastic individuals to join our Food & Beverage Management Team. As a shift manager for the San Jose Giants, you will be given a unique opportunity to hone your skills as a supervisor in a fast paced environment. With the majority of our games scheduled on the evenings or weekends, the San Jose Giants are a great way to supplement your current income or work around a school schedule. Qualifications include: self motivated; customer service focused; the ability to lead, coach, and manage others; excellent organization and time management skills; professional attitude in dealing with both customers and team members; and ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude, even in a high pressure situation. Responsibilities include: assist in the preparing and closing of our concessions operation; manage one stand on a game day basis, focusing on the adherence of customer service standards; bring employee issues directly to the Assistant General Manager; actively develop ways to improve our line of business, including menu planning and cost reduction; and maintain a daily inventory of core products. This position reports directly to the Assistant General Manager.

Concessions Stand Staff
The San Jose Giants Concession Stands are where the fans go to get traditional stadium fare such as hot dogs, pizza, and beer. Municipal Stadium features two concession stands, each staffed with 10 -15 people. Positions include cashiers and cooks. Responsibilities include: preparing, serving, and selling concessions food items such as popcorn, soda, nachos, and beer; setting up concessions-related equipment and sale items; maintaining product par levels and inventory control items; storing concessions items according to posted food storage instructions; assisting with the upkeep, cleaning and maintenance of concessions stands and equipment; processing food and beverage transactions including extensive cash handling; maintaining your individual sales area in a neat and orderly fashion; complying with applicable health codes and safety rules; serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with the state and local restriction, and performing related concessions duties as assigned. All Concessions Staff must meet certain qualifications to be eligible to serve. Qualifications include: prior restaurant and/or cash handling experience; strong organizational and customer service skills; and availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings. Concessions - Turkey Mike's BBQ Staff
Turkey Mike's BBQ is one of the most popular attractions in Municipal Stadium, and serves some of the best food in Minor League Baseball. Turkey Mike's is an outdoor BBQ pit, with most of the food prepared on-site. Turkey Mike's BBQ Staff must have a strong work ethic, be friendly with fans and co-workers, and be prepared to handle large crowds. Positions include cooks, servers, and cashiers. Responsibilities include: preparing, serving, and selling concessions food items such as ribs, chicken, burgers, etc.; setting up concessions-related equipment and sale items; maintaining product par levels and inventory control items; storing concession items according to posted food storage instructions; assisting with the upkeep, cleaning and maintenance of concessions stands and equipment; processing food and beverage transactions including extensive cash handling; maintaining your individual sales area in a neat and orderly fashion; complying with applicable health codes and safety rules; serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with the state and local restrictions; and performing related concessions duties as assigned. All Turkey Mikes BBQ Staff must meet certain qualifications to be eligible to serve. Qualifications include: prior restaurant and/or cash handling experience; strong organizational and customer service skills; and availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings.

Fun Zone Attendant
Individual needed to manage the inflatable kid's games and activities at all San Jose Giants home games. The Family Fun Zone Attendant will keep track of contests, take Kid's Zone tickets, and monitor fans participating in the activities and games. Individual must be able to handle monetary transactions and lines of people, have an outgoing personality, enjoy working with children, and be willing to acquire general knowledge of the San Jose Giants Baseball Club and ballpark. Prior experience working with children in a kid-friendly environment strongly preferred. Qualifications must include: strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a public environment, availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings, dependability, and being self-motivated.

Program and Scorecard Vendor
Individual needed to greet fans and capture their attention as they enter Municipal Stadium for San Jose Giants home games. The program hawker will be positioned at the front entrance and be one of the first members of the Game Staff fans will encounter. Therefore, it is important to be outgoing and approachable, have a strong, clear, confident voice, make a good first impression, and grab the fans' attention. The Program and Scorecard Vendor is also responsible for preparing the scorecard and must therefore be reliable and well organized.

Ticket Taker
Individuals needed to welcome fans, scan tickets, and control items entering the stadium at the front gate (with the help of hired security). Ticket takers are the first line of employees as fans enter Municipal Stadium and must therefore be friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about general San Jose Giants information. Individual must work well under pressure, be very enthusiastic and cooperative, and have excellent communication skills.

Usher and Courtesy Crew Member
The San Jose Giants Courtesy Crew assists fans throughout the game. As a member of the Courtesy Crew, responsibilities include: providing guests with the best service experience imaginable; assisting guests with basic team and stadium inquiries including seating information; actively seeking interaction with guests to communicate in ways that enhance their ballpark experience; actively seeking opportunities to create MVP Moments and special memories for our guests; participating in game entertainment segments such as dances, contests and cheers; enforcing the facility's policies and procedures to ensure the best experience for all ballpark guests; reporting potential fan issues or concerns to a supervisor for resolution as needed; maintaining minor crowd control before, during, and after games or special events; working with all Team Members to maintain an extremely clean and professional facility, this includes light cleaning and notifying supervisors of any spills, garbage, or safety concerns; greet guests entering and exiting the stadium in a courteous manner including saying "Welcome to Municipal Stadium"; assisting with the distribution of promotional items as directed; and performing all other assigned duties to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for our Guests. Qualifications must include: proficient communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a public environment, dependable, self-motivated, an excellent listener, ability and willingness to explain and enforce facility policies in a courteous manner; and availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings. Previous customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of basic baseball rules and scoring required.
